The 2022 Gift Guide for Creative People

The Gift Guide for Creative People is BACK!

I brought it back in a big way too… I researched and crammed over 50 gift ideas for that creative person in your life (or for yourself… because you should always treat your self from time to time—you deserve it) with a wide range of price points, this gift guide has a little something for everyone.

I do have one thing to ask you; if you enjoy this gift guide and also know anyone struggling to find something for that special someone in their life, would you please consider sharing this to your socials? I make it super easy to do so with the share links above and at the end of this guide. Thank you in advance!

Reading and Writing

Books, Journals, and the greatest Pen Ever ($9.31-$28.90)

Many creatives love to read, write, and record their musings. This section is dedicated to those of us who love to engross ourselves in the written word.

Everybody Writes 2nd Edition (Completely Revised and Expanded) by Ann Handley
Available in:
Hardcover | Kindle

The first edition of “Everybody Writes” has long been heralded as required reading for content marketing. There’s a good chance you’ve learned something from Ann, even if you haven’t read the first edition. Her “New and Improved guide to creating ridiculously good content” is now available and copies have been flying off the shelves.

Pocket Notebook (2 Pack)

Pocket Notebooks are so convenient. Have you ever went for a walk and had of a great idea, only to forget what it was before you could write it down? If you keep a small note pad with you at all times, you’ll never run into that problem again. This 2-pack of tomes are super-convenient, have a loop to keep a pen, and even have a pocket in the back for post-it notes or whatever else.

The person you buy this for will be so happy to have these.

Fisher Space Pen - Chrome

This pen is magnificent. It writes so smoothly and at any angle. While I would never attempt to write in the water with it, the manufacturer says you can… but why?

I actually own two of this exact pen and one other Fisher Space pen, which will be featured later.

Kindle paperwhite and accessories ($34.99-$229.97)

Sometimes reading needs to be a bit more convenient. Enter the Kindle. A small tablet that looks like paper, is easy on the eyes and can hold many books. The bottom item is a bundle of the three Kindle Paperwhite items listed here and can save you $28, so be sure to check that out if these interest you.

Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition

I’m featuring the highly-rated (4.7 out of 5 stars, with over 10,000 ratings) Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition, which features a 6.8” display has the convenience of wireless charging, and without ads on the lock screen. This Kindle has 32 GB of storage, which is more than enough.

Additionally, if you listen to audiobooks on Audible, you can link your account to this device, pair it with your Bluetooth headphones, and listen to books as well as read them.

Kindle Paperwhite Fabric Cover

Protect the Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition with a cover that’s both functional and stylish. The cover can also remain on the Kindle while charging.

Wireless Charging Dock for Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition

This wireless charger was made for Amazon by Anker, a trusted name in power and charging, and is specifically for the Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition. Now, you don’t need this to charge the Kindle. If you have any Qi/Fast Charge wireless charging device, like a charging pad on your desk, that will work; however, this is in keeping with the theme.

Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition Essentials Bundle

If you’re interested in purchasing all of the above, I found a bundle on Amazon that saves you $28, instead of buying all three items separately.

For more book ideas, check out,Five Books I’m Excited to read in 2023.”

The Artist’s way ($11.99-$20.99)

I’ve featured “The Artist’s Way” in other gift guides and product blogs I’ve worked on before and for good reason; they’re a phenomenal way to cultivate creativity and help organize a chaotic creative mind.

Bring out their creative side

One of the best and most thoughtful ways to show that creative person in your life that you care is by nurturing their creativity. Many of us have a tendency to develop new hobbies, sometimes on a whim. Why not be responsible for creating a new hobby or creative outlet for them?

This section showcases a variety of items that are meant to do just that.

Photography… with a nostalgic twist ($74.98-$137.63)

Once upon a time, there were cameras that would spit out the picture you took, right after you took it. Polaroids were abundant and fun. Flash forward a little over 20 years and not only have Polaroids made a resurgence, but there are competing brands with instant-print cameras. This is way too fun to not include in this guide, so here are some good deals or packages.

Polaroid Now+ Blue Gray

The OG instant film camera; the Polaroid. This re-released edition of the classic Polaroid camera we all remember (If you are old enough to do so) now features Bluetooth connectivity and a bonus lens filter set. This blue gray color version is 9% less than the other two options.

Zink Kodak PRINTOMATIC w/50 pack

Coming in at under $75, the Zink Kodak PRINTOMATIC also comes with 50 sheets to print on. The camera is 10 megapixels, which places it strongly in the point-and-shoot category of cameras.

Fujifilm Instax Mini 11 Instant Camera w/60 Pack

This fun-looking, fun-having instant camera is highly rated on Amazon. 4.5 stars out of 23,385 reviews (as of this writing). The camera and 60 pack of photo sheets are currently on sale and this is the high-end of the price range for these cameras. From what I’ve read in the reviews and questions, this camera is a great time.

Capturing Video and vlogging

Video has become synonymous with social media; think TikTok, Reels, Stories… Social Video is with us for good. But it’s not just that. I have fond memories of a giant video camera on my father’s shoulder and his cabinet full of VHS tapes of my childhood. Well, thankfully, both the cameras and storage have gotten smaller.

So, even if that creative person in your life isn’t sold on the idea of becoming “TikTok famous,” they may record some pretty awesome memories that would be great to look back on from time to time. While these are a bit on the pricier ranges, I tried to find some deals and bundles that are worth the cost.

GoPro Hero10 black and accessories

While I don’t think I need a new GoPro (I have a Hero4 with a broken waterproof housing that’s collecting dust and the original Hero Session, that gets used from time to time), I would probably be quite happy to open one up on Christmas morning. #JustSaying

Right now, as of this writing, the Hero10 Black Bundle is 22% off on Amazon (Ships from and Sold by) and is worth the cost, if you have that in your budget, as it’s only about $30 more than the camera alone. You can get the Media Mod, to better your sound quality and add things like the Light Mod, for better lighting. From what my friends who own this setup tell me, they drastically improve the quality of video.

I’ve included the accessories that I would purchase below, if I was shopping this for myself.

What I love about the Hero10 Black is the versatility; you can use it as your action camera, a vlogging rig, a live streaming camera, and as your primary source of video creation; the 4K codec is comparable to what you would see in an entry-level mirrorless camera with 4K video.

Drone photography and videography ($599-$2,824)

The popularity of UAS content creation (or drone photography/videography) continues to skyrocket—pun intended—and while I must insist that you comply with all local ordonnances as well as Federal UAS laws and regulations, I wanted to include a couple of recommendations, as I have good deal of knowledge in this field.

I have two recommendations, both are from DJI; one is a more-affordable “hobbyist” price-point and the other for the more-serious UAS ground pilot/content creator. I own and trust DJI’s products and I have safely and successfully flown and created content with my DJI drone. I will always recommend DJI’s “Fly More Combo” with any of their products.

Full stop.

Both from a bundle price perspective and from necessity of what’s included, the Fly More Combos are always worth the extra money.

DJI Mini 2 Fly More Combo

Big performance in a small size. This is quite possibly the best travel drone you can own. If you are an avid traveler, some countries restrict drones above a certain size. The U.S. FAA also requires drones heavier than 0.55 lbs (250 grams) to be registered.

This UAS is 249 grams and is intended for recreational fliers and can be easily brought everywhere that UAS flights are permitted.

DJI Mavic 3 Fly More Combo

Professional performance in an unassuming size. I fly the first DJI Mavic. Five years and countless hours aloft, my drone is still flying and capturing amazing images and video. I believe in this UAS system. What you get with this 3rd edition is 4/3 CMOS Hasselblad camera. In case you’ve never heard of Hasselblad, their cameras are amazing. The Mavic 3 boasts one of the best Omnidirectional Obstacle Sensing systems in the field.

This is DJI’s flagship, so it has all the bells and whistles—which is why it’s so expensive.

Recommended for experienced UAS ground pilots and content creators who can make make money with this equipment.

odball Cameras ($342-$461)

These cameras are fun, made for having fun while creating, and would make a great gift for an aspiring vlogger or someone who just wants to document their adventures.

DJI Pocket 2 and pocket 2 Creator Combo

The DJI Pocket is a small, gimbal-stabilized 4K camera with some fun features. The purpose is to be able to create steady, cinema-style shots with a convenient-sized device. The camera also utilizes a smartphone app that allows it to actively track a subject, which opens up so many possibilities for cool shots.

The creator combo features a wireless microphone and windscreen as well as a micro tripod and a few other bonus items.

Insta360 X3

This is one of the coolest action cams on the market. It shoots 4K, 360-degree video (which can also be digitally stabilized, and shoot 72 megapixel 360 photos. This thing is so cool. This camera also makes the selfie stick disappear.

Video Recording Accessories ($85-$134)

Looking for a better way to record yourself? The three accessories below are sure to make you a better vlogger or creator. The Switch Pod is a light and quick mini-tripod and vlogging handle for your vlogging rig and the Pivo Pods are an affordable way to be your own camera man with your smartphone.

The SwitchPod & Ball Head Combo

An essential upgrade for vloggers and a convenient tripod option that folds flat and takes up less space than the Gorilla Pod.

Pivo Pod & Remote

This is such a cool creator toy. It’ll track you with your smartphone, add movement, and auto zoom in your videos. It’s like having your own camera operator.

Pivo Pod + Value Kit

You get a case and a few extras in this value kit. As of this writing, it’s discounted by 45%.

Photo and video Editing

Tourbox Neo - $189 (plus coupon)

This nifty little controller packs a wallop and once used to it, photo and video editing will become a more efficient process. You can apply shortcuts and presets as well as make image adjustments, all from the convenience of this controller.

As of this writing, Amazon has a $20 coupon you can apply to this item, brining the cost to $169.

Music ($14-$119)

Music is fuel for the creative soul. There are so many ways that you can fuel creativity through music; listening to music can help relax the mind and focus, it can also energize the mind and body, or evoke an emotional response. All of which are important to the creative process.

Creating music is a journey on its own. Music can be anything. Whether its funny noises or a structured, composed piece, it’s still music. So, encourage it with some of these gift ideas. For anything more serious, like a quality instrument, I recommend going to a music store. While you could purchase a quality instrument on Amazon, it’s best to make sure an instrument feels right to the musician.

Australian Treasures Didgeridoo and Bag

I actually play the didgeridoo. I own two (yes… really). My first didgeridoo was a bamboo instrument, much like this one. In my opinion, this creates one of the coolest sounds on Earth. Research “Circular Breathing” (I practiced by blowing bubbles in a pool and a wide vessel of water).

The Original Blue Kazoo

We all played with those plastic kazoos when we were kids. They’re fun and easy to play. The Blue Kazoo is a step up from those plastic toys we played with. It’s made of aluminum and comes in a nice canvas bag for storage and travel.

Jaw Harp by MUARO

Ok… So, this is going to be one of those gifts that will start with a head scratch and end in laughter. I think this thing is so cool and a fun idea. I actually hope my wife, or another family member, gets this for me (hint, hint). I did a good amount of research and this model of jaw harp is actually a better quality than some of the more-expensive options on Amazon. It’s handcrafted by mouth harp master Pavel Potkin. That’s a thing I didn’t know existed until I researched this.

Anyway… Super-super fun and will have everyone enjoying the “boing” noises.

AKAI Professional MPK Mini MK3 USB MIDI

This product is the most serious item in the music list. I had to include it because of the price and the music power contained in this small package. AKAI is one of the biggest names in professional music production technology. This mini-version of their pro studio equipment comes at a price point worthy of an aspiring producer with much of the right technology. The beats you can create with this device are only limited to your imagination and it already comes with three quality synth engines.

This can be used to create your own podcast or YouTube channel music, so you don’t have to worry about finding or paying for royalty-free music. I felt this was a worthy inclusion in this list and will be a great gift for someone interested in diving into producing. As of this writing, Amazon has it on sale for $99.

Audio and sound

Wireless headphones and speakers

The holidays are the perfect time of the year to purchase headphones and Bluetooth speakers. This is when you find the deepest discounts on these items. I’ll begin my recommendations with some great choices from JBL. I prefer JBL products to other manufacturers because they produce phenomenal sound, have great battery life, and while they’re not the cheapest option in the space, they don’t break the bank.

JBL BLUETOOTH DEVICES ($29.89-$179.95)

JBL Go 3

Big sound from a small speaker. The Go 3 is currently discounted by $20, at the time of this writing.

JBL Charge 5

A great Bluetooth speaker with great sound. As of this writing, the Charge 5 is discounted by $30.

JBL Tune 125TWS

These are very good in-ear headphones at a great price. As of this writing, they are 50% off.

JBL Reflect Flow Pro+

These are JBL’s top-of-the-line sport wireless earbuds. I own these and love them. I purchased them on a Prime Day sale and while they’re worth their price, look for these to be discounted on Black Friday/Cyber Monday, before buying.

Bose Around-Ear Wireless Headphones ($149-$329)

For a more premium listening experience and around the ear comfort, these Bose headphones are quality options for a more discerning individual.

Bose SoundLink II - White

I own these headphones in blue. They sound amazing. After about 5 years of continuous use, they’re still sounding great. Additionally, replacement earpads are readily available on Amazon, to keep the music going for years to come. After about 4 years of heavy use, the leather on the ear pads started to peel. Replacement was inexpensive and easy to do. I chose to recommend the white ones because Amazon currently has these discounted by 35% at the time of this writing.

Bose QuietComfort 45 Noise Cancelling Headphones

I wanted to include the QC 45 headphones in this list because these premium headphones do get discounted around the holidays and sale events like Prime Day. As of this writing, they are full-price, but if this is something you’re looking to purchase, wait for them to be discounted.

Creative Hobbies

Creative people have a tendency to engage in many hobbies. Sometimes those hobbies last a lifetime, other times they’ll last a few months or a few years and then we’ll return to those hobbies after a bit of time has passed. For me, fishing has been a life-long hobby, while wood carving and drawing/sketching are ones that I pick up and put down from time to time. And speaking of wood carving and sketching… Here’s a great carving knife set, as well as some sketch pads and a drawing kit. ($11.99-$51.95)

Storage and Power

Storage is cheap. Come the holiday season, storage gets even cheaper. If there’s one thing a content creator needs, it’s more storage and power banks to keep their smart devices going. Here are some of the best deals and options that I found.

SanDisk 256GB Extreme microSDXC Memory Card

While SanDisk makes microSD cards with 512GB, and even 1TB, and both aren’t cost-prohibitive, if you’re shooting 4K video with a any of the action cameras or drones above, the largest card you should use is 256GB due to write speeds. This card is capable of write speeds of up to 130MB/s and is capable of 5K UHD recording. That means this is the perfect card for a GoPro, DJI Pocket, Insta360, and both DJI drones in this guide. At the time of this writing, this card was discounted by 31% and is only $8.54 more than the 128GB card. The card I am linking to is also sold by and ships from Amazon.

WD 5TB Elements Portable HDD

As of this writing, this 5TB portable, external hard drive is discounted by $20 to the unbelievable price of $109.99. When I said storage is cheap above, this is what I meant. 5TB for just over $100. This is a great deal by a trusted brand. It’s also highly-rated with 4.5 stars and 123,942 ratings on Amazon.

LaCie Rugged USB-C 5TB External Hard Drive Portable HDD

This hard drive holds just as much as the WD hard drive above, and as of this writing it costs $60 more, even after being discounted by $10. The reason I have this on my list is because of the fact that I own two of them. These are drop shock resistant. You don’t have to worry about it being jostled and failing, and also, it’s a USB-C drive, which makes it the perfect external hard drive for a MacBook. This HDD is worth the price.

mophie Powerstation XXL Power Bank

I own an older model of the Powerstation XXL and it’s still going strong, after years of use and countless charges. The newer model is smaller, is 20,000 mAh (my model is 18,000 mAh), and now features USB-C charging, which delivers a faster charge to your devices. As of this writing, the discount isn’t much, but this is worth the money at full price.

Anker USB-C cable 2 pack

After Mophie, Anker is the only other name in power that I trust. I’ve never had an issue with either brand. I especially love these Anker cables. I use them everywhere, my cars, my house, the sleekness and overall quality bests even the OEM cables. These are high-speed and durable.

Cubilux USB-C Splitter

This item is for a specific use, if you need to charge your phone and want to play music through an aux-cable device. I can tell you, this splitter works with the Pixel 6/Pro, and the newer Samsung Galaxy phones.

Podcasts and Streaming

Are podcasts or live streaming part of your repertoire or is it possibly something you want to get into? If so, then this is the section for you!

Blue Yeti USB Microphone

Great quality at a great price. A few of my friends own this microphone and use it for both podcasting and live streaming. As of this writing, this microphone is 10% off making it a shoe-in for this guide.

Shure SE215 Pro wired earbuds

These earbuds are great in-ear monitors for podcast recording as well as live streaming. In-ear monitors are recommended to reduce feedback and echo in sound recording. Currently discounted by 21%, pro-grade monitors at $99 are worth the inclusion in this guide.

Logitech Brio 4K Webcam

Really bring your livestream audience in with crisp, high-quality video. The camera itself has a smaller footprint on your desk than older (1080p HD) models. This webcam is discounted by 31% at the time of this writing, making it more than worth picking up.

Elgato stream deck (15 button)

This is a great tool that can be used for both podcasting and streaming. With this controller, you can assign buttons to do whatever you need. Play a sound for a podcast, your intro and outro, change cameras, change scenes and backgrounds. This device puts the power of a studio on the top of your desk. Currently sitting at 20% off, this is a great deal.

My Cinema Lightbox

I wanted to include this to bring up an important, yet often overlooked, aspect to live streaming; the background. Building an engaging (but not distracting) background is integral to a successful live stream. You can use this color-changing lightbox to send a message to your viewers, promote something, or display your show’s name behind you. The use is only limited by your imagination. Currently discounted by 26% and has an additional 15% coupon associated to it.

Keep Them Caffeinated

It’s borderline cliché to say that creativity runs on coffee. Show me someone’s social media accounts and I’ll find you a post with a coffee. I designed this section to suggest the gift of upping the coffee experience. From mugs, to a new way of making coffee, to a certain style of coffee that’s near and dear to my heart, I compiled some worthy inclusions in this section.

20 oz large coffee mugs (set of 2)

Who has time for refills? These large capacity mugs hold 20 ounces, are dishwasher, microwave, and freezer-safe. A perfect gift for the person in your life that needs lots of wake up juice to start their day.

Yeti Rambler 20 oz ravel Mug

Lots of go juice for being on the go. This mug promises to keep your drink warm to the last sip. Rugged and durable, the Yeti Rambler and lid are dishwasher safe. A gift that will be appreciated and quickly become a favorite mug.

asobu Black Insulated Pour Over Coffee Maker

Pour over coffee has been steadily gaining in popularity. The coffee making process becomes a ritual; more than just pushing a button, and by involving yourself in the process, you’re creating an experience, rather than just engaging in a morning habit. This particular coffee maker is double-wall vacuum insulated, as opposed to just being glass, this means your coffee will stay hotter, and with the included lid, you can take your coffee with you where you go.

Amazon Basics Digital Kitchen Scale

As the crafting of pour over coffee is based on weight, I felt it necessary to include a kitchen scale. This particular scale is only $9.99 as of this writing and has 4.5 stars out of 63,363 ratings. So, it’s inexpensive and gets the job done.

Bodum Gooseneck Electric Water Kettle

Also essential to preparing a cup of pour over coffee is a gooseneck electric water kettle. This particular one is ideal for pour over coffee and is currently discounted by 27%.

Nescafé Classic Instant Greek Coffee

Frappés have been a part of my personal culture since I was old enough to drink coffee. Currently my mid-day coffee break; I add a scoop of this to 12 oz of water in a protein shaker with some sugar, shake, then pour over ice and milk or cream. I wanted to share that with you all.

Rest and Relaxation

More important than stimulating your creative mind, resting your mind from the creative process also helps to rejuvenate it; rest leads to more creativity. Rest can come in different forms. I’ve chosen to feature a couple of ways that I unwind.

One of the best ways to rest your mind is to get a good night’s sleep.

Manta Sleep Masks ($29-$69)

When I go to sleep, I need to be in pitch black. I fall asleep faster because all visual distractions are eliminated. Even though I have blackout curtains over my windows, there are still things in our room that emit a little light, like clocks, phones, and even some light from outside that the blackout curtains just can’t stop. You know when you’re watching those real estate hunting shows on TV and they comment on the bedroom being “bright and airy,” like it’s a good thing? Yeah… for me, that’s not the business. I want my bedroom to be more like a cave than anything else; dark and cozy, with a small, furry animal curled up next to me for warmth.

My Manta Sleep Mask does that for me. It gives me the cave-like darkness I require, while my cat Tiger gives me the snuggles I deserve. What I like most about the mask is after I adjusted it to fit properly, it stays put. The blackout is a result of really comfortable eye cups, and not just a padded strip over your face. The cups surround your eye and nothing comes into contact with your eyelashes and eyelids. There’s zero pressure on your eyes.

I sleep on my back and side. When I roll over, the mask stays in place and, after getting used to wearing it, I barely register that it’s there. There’s an adjustment period, when you go from not wearing a sleep mask, to wearing one, but once you’re used to wearing it, you won’t want to sleep without it.

Manta Sleep Mask ($35)

The OG model. This is the one I have. The material is super-soft. Feels like worn-in jersey knit cotton. Super comfortable and blocks out the light after adjusted to fit. The sides are on the thicker-side for me, so I put them over my ears and have gotten used to wearing it that way. I love this mask.

Manta Slim mask ($29)

This mask is designed for side sleepers; the sides of the mask and strap has a slimmer profile to make it less-noticeable than the original mask.

Manta Silk Mask ($69)

For a more-luxurious blackout sleep experience, you can get this 22 momme mulberry silk mask version and still have the zero eye pressure 100% blackout sleep you deserve.

Video game systems ($199-$398.50)

I do love relaxing and playing some video games from time to time. The main detractor that keeps me from playing them more often is time. That being said, The Nintendo Switch has been a fun addition to the household and while it’s technically my oldest son’s system, it’s connected to the main TV and we all play it; even my wife. I also have a Meta Quest 2. While this doesn’t get as much use as the Switch does, we’ve all enjoyed playing in VR. With some ingenuity, we’re able to stream what the player is seeing to our TV and the whole family can get involved.

Nintendo Switch OLED

Featuring a 7-inch OLED screen, this Switch will wow you with its vivid colors and detail. Comes with white Joy-Con controllers, exclusive to this model.

Nintendo Switch Lite

Handheld and at a price that is as convenient as it’s functionality, the Switch Lite packs the same fun as it’s larger counterpart.

Meta Quest 2 - 128 GB

For a limited time, you can get Beat Saber free with a purchase of the Meta Quest 2. The full immersion experience of VR is really something to experience. While the “Ready Player One”-esque Metaverse is currently a bit of a punchline, the fact is that the games on this system are exceptionally fun.

Home and the Creative Space

Having a dedicated space that’s comfortable and promotes your creative process is important. This next section is dedicated to building a space that allows creativity to thrive. Soothing plants, better lighting, tactile items, and comfort are themes here.

Voncerus LED Desk lamp

Better lighting is key. This lamp features an adjustable gooseneck and three lighting modes. A welcome addition to any home office and creative space. Currently features a coupon for 20% off.

Plant Propagation Stations (3 bulb and 5 bulb vases)

I love these things. I think they’re so cool and really add to my home décor. Rather than just putting clippings in a cup, I can put them in a bulb. Additionally, they make for great, small flower vases.

3-Tier Owl Succulent Pots and Stand

Bound to bring a smile to your face, this space-saving design not only looks good, it adds a third plant in a two-plant footprint. Able to fit on a desk top or on a window sill, you’ll enjoy seeing your succulents flourish in these owl pots. I want this (hint, hint).

Soft Knot Tactile Pillow

If you’re on TikTok, chances are you’ve seen an ad for this pillow. This item’s popularity has skyrocketed and a few options (color/size) are sold out. These things are fun and really appeal to my nautical side (that’s a monkey’s fist knot).

Smart devices

We creatives love our toys. Sometimes those toys are strapped to our wrists. The overall benefits of a smart watch include increased connectivity, health monitoring, and tracking your steps or exercise. Additionally, many other health-related items have gained smart device status and connectivity with your smart phones. I’m featuring all of those items in this section.

Smartwatches ($149.99-$406.85)

Samsung Galaxy Watch 4

A great watch, heavily discounted since the release of the Galaxy Watch 5. The Galaxy Watches will work with any Android smart phone. I own the Samsung Gear S3 watch and it worked great with the various Google Pixel smartphones I’ve used.

Samsung Galxy Watch 5 +
Buds 2 Bundle

A great deal due to the bundle. Both smart devices in this set have been well-received.

Apple Watch Series 7

Let me tell you how well-reviewed this smartwatch is…

It has a perfect 5-stars, with almost 51,000 ratings on Amazon. For an iPhone user that’s in the market for a smartwatch, this is the one to get.

Smart devices for health and fitness ($29.99-$1,445)

I feel I should provide a disclaimer here, just in case. Do not purchase any weight loss-related gifts for any person unless they are asking for something like this, they are already committed to a weight loss journey and you’ve been supporting them, or are the kind of person who would appreciate receiving these. I cannot be held responsible if a relationship ends due to someone purchasing these as a gift. You’ve been warned.

arboleaf smart scale

I own this scale and I’ve been so impressed by its accuracy and the additional data beyond just my weight. It’s been a highly-motivational tool in my daily, morning routine. Currently, you can apply a 30% coupon to this item.

arboleaf Smart Tape Measure

I own this smart tape measure and this is just another great product from the folks over at arboleaf. Works with the same app as the scale, above.

Original Peloton Bike with 22” HD Touchscreen

The Peloton program is fantastic. I’ve used their app with my bicycle on a stationary trainer. Now you can order a Peloton bike through Amazon and take advantage of Prime Scheduled Delivery. For those reasons, I’ve included this in this guide.

Every day cary (EDC)

So, this section may (mostly) appeal to men, but that doesn’t mean you can’t put these awesome items in your purses, ladies. You have more room to carry than we do. Just saying. This is basically my EDC kit. I’m supremely-impressed by the functionality and durability of these items.

All of these items make great stocking stuffers too.

My EDC Kit ($11.89-$49.99)

RUNBOX Slim RFID blocking Wallet

I’m very particular with what I want in a wallet and this wallet has met my every need. Enough space for all of my cards, a billfold, it’s RFID blocking, and it’s thin.

Diodrio EDC Leather Pocket Pouch

A great leather pocket organizer. About the size of my wallet (above), this pouch securely holds the items below and fits unnoticeably in my front, left pocket. The leather had to stretch a little, at first, to get all the items below to fit, but it holds them nicely and keeps them organized.

OLIGHT I3T EOS EDC Flashlight

This might just be the perfect EDC flashlight; it fits perfectly in the leather pouch above, has a two-way clip for securing it to the EDC pouch, a pocket, or a hat brim for use as a headlamp. It has two power settings; the lower power will last for 16 hours, and the high power will last for 21 minutes of continuous use.

Fisher Space Pen Bullet

This pen is small and fits well in your EDC pouch, then opens up to a full-size pen that feels good in-hand. I love how the Fisher Space Pens write. I own three pens from them, this being one of them. Highly recommended.

SMALLRIG Folding Tool Set

Always be prepared for any need with this tool set. Not only does it look good but this tool set feels good and tucks in snuggly. Also, there’s no knife blade, so it’s travel-friendly.

Yusud Butane Fuel Lighter

I’m not a smoker but I do carry a lighter. I cook a lot outside, I use it to light a fire pit, or even candles. This thin butane lighter is about the size of a cigarette and fits up against the Smallrig Tool Set, in my EDC pouch. You will need to purchase fuel separately.

KeySmart Pro with Tile | Keysmart rugged

I’m featuring two of these KeySmart key holders. I love the clean idea of minimalizing your keys. I wanted to include the KeySmart Pro with an incorporated Tile Bluetooth finder for those who have a hard time remembering where they put their keys… the only issue I can see with this is that you have to charge your keychain.

The KeySmart Rugged came right off my Christmas wish list. Made from titanium, this key holder will last forever.

Geekey Multi-Tool

While I don’t own this particular multi-tool, I like the idea of it. It’s small size and functionality make it a worthy inclusion in this gift guide. Additionally, as of this writing, you can apply a 10% coupon on Amazon.

Stocking stuffers

There are only two items in this section because I’ve scattered some stocking stuffers around this guide all you have to do is look for the “Makes a Great Stocking Stuffer” graphic.

Powerup 2.0 Paper Airplane Conversion Kit

Have you ever wondered how cool it would be if you put a motor on a paper airplane? Yeah… me neither. But how cool is this, anyway? My wife shouldn’t be surprised if this ends up in one of our kids’ stockings, this year.

BIC BodyMark Temporary Tattoo Markers

I got the idea for these after seeing my three-year-old the other day. He used regular markers to color all over himself. We still haven’t gotten all of it off yet. He’s a creative, little dude. Well, as it just so happens, these things exist. Enjoy.

I hope this gif guide for creative people has helped you plan that perfect gift experience for that creative person in your life… even if that person is yourself. It was a lot of work to put this massive collection together, so it would mean the world to me if you would share it on your social media channels and any other way you can.

Whatever holiday you celebrate, may your holidays be full of love and joy.
